Would look great on display in a rustic type decor. Very Dirty, Very Worn Has a lot of character. I THINK it is copper or brass but I'm not sure Very old. Here is the complete serial number list for Martin that I acquired from Rob Stewart in Arcadia. I beleive that the serial number dates this horn to 1952/1953. Also check out my Bach MT Vernon case up for auction. Sale is for the trumpet only and does not include a case or mouthpiece. Selling because I just purchased a NY Bach and I have to many horns. Horn plays like all vintage committee horns- awesome. This was proffessionaly done and can easliy be changed back to the side mount. This is much more comfortable from the side mount. I did have my technician modify the 3rd valve ring location to the top from the side. No trauma on this horn and shows very little wear of the finish. Serial Number#1806xx dates this to early 1950's. Up for sale is a no reserve auction for a 1950's Martin Committe Bb Trumpet.
